If you know an HR professional or team who deserves to be recognized for their great work, now is the time to act! Nominations for the first ever Milwaukee Business Journal HR Awards must be received by March 2, 2015.

This new HR Awards program seeks to recognize the best human resources programs or practices that have had a positive impact on employees and the overall organization. Individual winners are eligible for a $1,000 cash prize, while company or departmental team winners can receive up to $2,000. Winners will be featured in a special section of the Business Journal, and will also be recognized at an awards ceremony at the Hilton City Center in Milwaukee on May 19, 2015.

Employer association MRA is sponsoring the HR Awards program, and Mueller QAAS CEO Jim Mueller is providing the prize money. Winners will be selected by a panel led by Milwaukee Business Journal editor-in-chief Mark Kass.

Nominations are sought for the following categories:

  • Publicly-held companies
  • Small Private Companies
  • Medium Private Companies
  • Large Private Companies
  • Nonprofit Organizations
  • Education
  • Government
  • Lifetime Achievement

Eligible candidates must be based in the seven county Southeastern Wisconsin region (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Walworth, Washington, Ozaukee, Racine, or Kenosha).
