According to an Associated Press poll, 4 in 5 survey participants blame the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for the costly changes in their health insurance coverage. Rising costs are nothing new in health insurance. Costs have continued to rise, and employers have shifted health insurance cost increases onto employees before. What’s unique about this poll is that instead of blaming the economy or insurance companies for increased costs, employees are blaming the ACA. Respondents for this poll were selected at random and interviewed online. Those selected without internet access were provided access at no cost.
