Meet The Team
President & CEO
Jim founded mueller QAAS in 2012. As President and CEO, Jim provides leadership and strategic direction to mueller QAAS. Jim also provides clients with objective marketplace insight to help them make strategic employee benefits decisions.
Prior to forming mueller QAAS, Jim served as President of Frank F. Haack & Associates for over 20 years. In this time, Jim helped Frank F. Haack & Associates grow into the largest benefit broker/consultant in Wisconsin and a top 70 brokerage firm nationally. From 1985 to 2005, Jim served simultaneously as President of Frank F. Haack & Associates and Zywave, a technology company spun off from Frank F. Haack & Associates. Jim was also an investor in Trivantage Pharmacy Strategies and FlagshipSails Rx.

Erin joined mueller QAAS in May 2013. As a consultant, Erin works directly with clients to manage their employee benefit plans. She creates and presents analyses to clients and serves as their contact.
Prior to joining mueller QAAS, Erin worked in various administrative and legal roles in the health care field, including experiences with Rising Medical Solutions, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Froedtert Health. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School.
Alex joined mueller QAAS in March 2014. As a consultant, Alex serves primarily as a client contact and resource. He educates clients on mueller QAAS’ portfolio of services and helps clients identify those that best suit their unique needs. Alex also creates and presents analyses on a variety of topics for clients and prospects.
Prior to joining mueller QAAS, Alex worked in a variety of sales, compliance, and consulting roles, including experiences with Humana, Walgreen Co., and the American Osteopathic Association. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.
Account Services Representative
Roxanne joined mueller QAAS in October 2017. She provides support to the mueller QAAS team by attending to administrative and clerical operations, sales, marketing, and client services.
Prior to joining mueller QAAS, Roxanne worked in the areas of executive support, customer service, and human resources for companies including Direct Supply and GMAC. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Alverno College in 2001.
Vice President – Business Development
Sandy joined mueller QAAS in January 2019. As the Vice President of Business Development, Sandy works to identify employers who are interested in partnering with an unbiased and transparent benefit consultant.
Prior to joining mueller QAAS, Sandy served as Chief Development Officer for the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) and as the Director of Audience Development for The Milwaukee Business Journal. She is a member of multiple boards and was a Women of Influence award winner in 2018. Sandy also received the Don Richards Leadership Award from the Waukesha County Business Alliance in 2015.
Sandy received her MBA from Marquette University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
Susan joined mueller QAAS in March 2018. She provides insight on how Mueller QAAS goes above and beyond when it comes to service and affordability. She also creates value for clients by understanding their needs and wants while providing a transparent view on who we are as a team.
Prior to joining mueller QAAS, Susan was the director of sales for a large national organization. She also was a teacher in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. She has lived in the Milwaukee area all her life and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
